Surviving Chinese New Year

Hi adorable peeps.

How did CNY go for you?  I had my fill of pineapple tarts, love letters, kueh bangkit and other CNY goodies. Thank God I don’t like bak kwa.

Payback’s a bitch though. I shudder to think at the amount of runs/exercise we need to do just to burn those off and I am still recovering from Christmas!

 regret much now?

There are some of the things that go through my mind after Chinese New Year:

1. I never want to see (insert goodie name) again! Omg, overdosing is not good and my tum has now been filled to the max with pineapple jam and pastry.

2. I am so gonna eat healthy the next week. But then we forget all about it when we get back to work and our colleagues ask us to go makan.

3.  I know I shouldn’t but I still eat again when instigated. Whatever happened to self control, haha.  Which brings me to point no.1. What a vicious cycle!

Anyway, it’s awesome to have Monday and Tuesday off, I had one of my bimbo moments and thought that Tuesday was not a PH as officially Sunday and Monday were the 1st & 2nd day of the Lunar New Year. Lucky for me, my BFF told me about it, if not I would have gone to work!

Anyway, as usual, everything in moderation, if you overate a day too many, make up for it be having something healthy the next or throw in extra time then next time you are doing a workout. 

Hmm, maybe it’s time to do one of my detox plans 🙂
