Anyway, I think this is really interesting that the race begins at 5pm in the evening instead of the usual morning flag offs. At $45 per entry, I think it is a tad ex though ( unless you are a student below the ages of 24, then it costs $35) but hey, almost all the races are charging about the same price so can’t really protest can I?

This Singapore leg is part of the Nike She Runs Series will see 8000 women being part of a movement that unites 85,000 females runners in 12 cities around the world.
It is a 5km route along the Gardens By the Bay, one of Singapore’s newest attractions. The series aims to foster the growing interest of running among women and to find motivation through Nike+ and social communities.
Which by the way reminds me.. If you are looking for a personal trainer type of app, the Nike Training Club app should come in handy, read the review here. It’s really good for those days, when you want a quick cardio or strength training workout.
Love it that there are more races for ladies in 2013. It is a great idea to encourage women to take up a healthier lifestyle. Already, the Venus run was a huge hit, and I can’t wait for the widely popular Shape Run which is open for registration too.
Hoping and having faith that the leg is up to run, if not, I will probably enjoy walking it. No biggie 🙂
